Fort St Elmo Exhibition Opens its Doors - Sarner News
The newly refurbished Fort St Elmo out in Malta finally opens its doors to the public on the 10th May from 10am! For a brand new exhibition Sarner were commissioned to create and install a vast array of audio visuals and graphics to tell the story of Fort St Elmo’s rich and varied history, including the dramatic Great Siege of 1565 and Malta’s pivotal position in World War II.
The Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation in collaboration with Heritage Malta is investing €15.5 million into Malta’s Fort St Elmo to transform this historical gem into an outstanding tourist attraction. This is a large scale project and, working closely with the design consultants Forward Architects, Land and TGA, and the main contractor Camray, Sarner has delivered over 100 AV productions and created over 700 graphic panels. A highlight of this brand new attraction will undoubtedly be the immersive show, set inside the historic Cavalier, throwing visitors into the heart of these experiences.
Sarner has also delivered and installed all the audio visual equipment which will form a key part of the visitor experience, showcasing Sarner’s technology expertise and bringing a hint of the future to the history of the past.
