Located within a $23 million development in Dublin, Sarner created ICON, a unique theatrical, multi-media experience for international drinks company, Baileys. Throughout this experience, visitors are taken on a journey through Irish landscapes exploring the myths, legends and people involved in the story of how Baileys came to be.
In total, the internal architecture covers 20,000ft and was custom-made by Sarner to house the stunning scenic and AV effects, which include: the largest bar in Ireland, a cascading waterfall and stream, a working mill building, an external street scene with real gas lamps and cobbled streets, a multi-arched brick vault and a classical library. The centre seats 650 people with three separate bars and five food areas, all set within their own environment.
Director of Baileys, Peter O’Connor said of the project: “We wanted to create an atmosphere that would bring the spirit of Ireland and the Baileys story to life. To achieve this the creative team at Sarner has pushed the boundaries of a theatrical environment, combining the magic and entertainment of the theatre with an eating and drinking experience”.
