AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIENCES FOR A SENSE-SATIONAL EXHIBITION

This project marks Sarner's second collaboration with the Science Museum Group on the 'Operation Ouch!' exhibition series, following our appointment to deliver exhibition design, lighting design, and audiovisual design and integration for the hit exhibition, 'Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You', which launched in 2023.

We are thrilled to have been entrusted with this repeat commission, a testament to the strength and continuity of our partnership with the Science Museum Group. This follows our recent work on a turnkey design and realisation project for the immersive Flying Scotsman VR Experience, which was also launched in 2023.

Produced by the Science and Industry Museum and developed in collaboration with BBC Children's and Education and Objective Media Group, 'Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You' invites visitors on an exciting, interactive journey to explore the complexities of the human brain and the five familiar senses of touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste, as well as some lesser-known 'secret senses'.

Sarner is delighted to have contributed the expertise of our in-house audiovisual engineering department, showcasing our deep understanding of the unique demands of designing for touring exhibitions. Our approach ensures that the audiovisual system is not only reliable during display but also optimised for quick installation and derigging. Additionally, the system is designed for ease of packing, storage, and transportation, while maintaining the flexibility needed to adapt to different exhibition layouts at subsequent venues.

Tickets to the exhibition are now available for purchase here
