Congratulations to our Managing Director Ross Magri for taking 1st Place in Malta International Photo Award 2019/2020 among thousands of submissions for this beautiful photograph he took of Cittadella on the Maltese island of Gozo.
This photo was taken during the Feast of the Assumption, also known as Feast of Santa Maria, celebrated in Victoria, Gozo on the 15th of August. The Feast marks the ascent into heaven by the Virgin Mary.
We are fortunate to work with unique historic buildings like the Cittadella where we can leverage the power of storytelling, media and striking architecture to create an experience that reinforces the historical ties of the building, the people and the natural landscape.
Cittadella Visitors’ Centre is a special project in Sarner’s portfolio of heritage attractions. The attraction, opened to the public in 2015, has attracted major international plaudits including themed entertainment industry's top honour - a TEA Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement. By enhancing the island’s cultural identity, the project delivered an impressive 29% boost in tourism for Gozo.
