Sarner unveils £8.5 million redevelopment of medieval Bodmin Jail

A very special project is underway in Cornwall where we are working as part of an international team of experts transforming a British heritage asset of national importance - Bodmin Jail - into a leading visitor attraction, hotel and education centre for Cornwall and the UK.

Sarner is pleased to announce that Cornwall’s Bodmin Jail will reopen to the public this autumn.

Within a dramatic setting of this medieval prison Sarner is creating a new immersive attraction which will use cutting-edge technology with sensational scenic sets, special effects, films and projections to bring to life the jail’s vivid stories. The new ‘Dark Walk’ is the first of its kind in the region and has been created to make visitors feel like they are travelling back in time. The experience will re-create and immerse the visitor in the history of the building and the experience of what it was like to be in Bodmin Jail in the 18th & 19th Centuries.

Opening autumn 2020 - a must-visit attraction in Cornwall!
